In the beginning

If a blog is a personal diary, every blog has to start from the beginning. In the beginning of a blog the author should write the personal mission and the personal values.

My mission is «To be happy» and although I know I will only find the complete happiness when I meet God, nevertheless the purpose of my live is to be happy.

How can I be happy?
I believe in God. God is Love. God is not but Love. God created heaven and earth. God created humankind in His own image so I am a creature of God and I am able to Love. The way to be happy is to love.

These are my values:
1) Love. Love is the essence of God. As God's creature I am able to love and that's my essence too. Its opposite is fear.
2) Freedom. Freedom is the power I have to choose my actions, my thoughts and my motivations.  God made me free and I should keep this freedom. Its opposite is dependency.
3) Integrity. It is the coherence between the inside and outside. Between the values and the actions. Integrity includes honesty, maturity and courage. Its opposite is illusion.
4) Trust. To believe in God is not only to believe that God exists. Is to trust in God. Trust in people. Be optimistic and don't have prejudice against people or the future. Its opposite is doubt.
5) Friendship. Friendship is the love for friends because we just have friends if we love them. Its opposite is loneliness.
6) Joy. Joy is the smile of the soul. It is a feeling of wellbeing and pleasure. It is the happiness of the heart. It is the blood pressure of the spiritual body. Its opposite is death.
7) Peace. It is more that not be in war. It is the harmony of human relations. It is the wellbeing of "being". Its opposite is hate.

These are my values that help living my mission - to be happy.

Now that you know my mission and my values we can talk and know each other.

Um abraço,
Luís
